Special Trips

Special Trips cover scheduled non-emergency transportation needs that may not fit neatly into another service category. Examples can include one-time specialty appointments, care-related visits, unique pickup or destination arrangements, and other healthcare transportation requests that require advance coordination.\n\nCustomers can explain the trip details in the booking form so MED ACCESS can review the route, timing, mobility needs, and vehicle availability. Special requests are handled based on the information provided and available transportation resources. Emergency trips, medical emergencies, and requests requiring emergency clinical care are outside the scope of this service.
