Stretcher Transport

Stretcher Transport is intended for non-emergency passengers who are not able to travel comfortably in a standard seated position and may need a stretcher-based trip. This can include certain facility transfers, scheduled medical visits, follow-up appointments, or discharge transportation when the passenger's condition and provider instructions allow non-emergency transport.\n\nBecause stretcher trips can require additional planning, MED ACCESS asks for advance details about the passenger, pickup location, destination, timing, and facility requirements. Availability should be confirmed before the trip. This service does not replace an ambulance and does not provide emergency medical treatment or emergency monitoring during transport.
